A friend posted this picture today.  Beautiful isn’t it?

But the beauty is growing out of brokenness.  It is growing out of hard conditions.  It is growing out of a rough, cracked bumpy surface.  Rocky.  Lonely.  It is beautiful in any environment but against this lonely, hard, broken, cracked, bumpy surface it is extra striking.

Grow in your beauty but let your beauty grow out of your brokenness.
