I recently saw an application for a child at school. The application asked for information about the father. The reply was N/A (not applicable). We are a generation that wants freedom in everything. There is no sin. There are no rules. But there are consequences. The numbers of children being raised out of wedlock are staggering. I hear the term “baby daddy” almost every day. It makes me so sad. Where is the responsibility? Where is the commitment? How can generations of children be raised without a father? What will turn us back? Or don’t we care?
Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
That’s a hard job to do if the fathers are not there . . .
